He is love,

He is mercy,

He pours out grace on those willing to receive

and He offers mercy to those who ask.




Know, then, that the Lord, your God, is God: the faithful God who keeps covenant mercy to the thousandth generation toward those who love him and keep his commandments.

I took this picture from the top of Mount Willard, in Crawford Notch, New Hampshire, a couple weeks ago. just imagine standing up there, feeling the wind blow, knowing that God’s voice is not in the wind, but in the whispered silence that follows. ~ The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord , for the Lord is about to pass by.” Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord , but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.     After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire.
