Strength in Jesus.

Strength in weakness.

Strength in humility.

Strength in thorns.

Strength in a cross.

Strength in prayer.

Strength in holiness.

Strength in grace.

Strength in forgiveness.

Strength in a tomb.

Strength in mercy.




The LORD is my strength and my shield;

my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped.

Therefore my heart rejoices, 

and I give thanks to Him with my song.

I took this picture from the top of Mount Willard, in Crawford Notch, New Hampshire, a couple weeks ago. just imagine standing up there, feeling the wind blow, knowing that God’s voice is not in the wind, but in the whispered silence that follows. ~ The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord , for the Lord is about to pass by.” Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord , but the Lord was not in the wind.
